Two vertical boilered steam locomotives will be in steam at the Launceston Steam Railway for the October Half Term week (this Sunday - next Friday).

Visiting is the Roanoke tram from the Trevaylor Tramway. As this is a very private railway this will be a very rare opportunity to see the tram in public - in fact this will be the first time the tram has been steamed at a public location.

Chris Parmenter's 'Perseverance', as seen at the FR Quirks & Curiosities weekend in May, should also be in steam. 'Percy' is also rarely seen in public.

Unfortunately neither vertical boilered locomotive will haul passenger trains, but they should both be on display and moving around the yard.

Times & Fares on the LSR website.
