There were about 30 students taking part and I had the pleasure of helping to supervise the Sunday session. By lunchtime on Sunday they had ripped up and roughly reassembled about 90 yards of track in 1 1/2 days which is not bad going at all, as it was their first time and done entirely by hand.

There were 14 new full time students involved with the work at Wirksworth and they were led by recent MSc graduates. Also in attendance were 5 members of course staff.
