    CAMPAIGNERS for the reopening of the Colne to Skipton railway line are gearing up for another mammoth journey between the two towns.

    The first "Missing Link Special" train chartered by SELRAP, the Skipton East Lancashire Rail Partnership, in April, was such a big success that another one has been planned for October 28.

    If the line between Colne and Skipton was re-opened, the journey would take less than 20 minutes, but the Selrap train will have to go via Blackburn and the Ribble Valley to get to Yorkshire.
