    After leaves on the line and the wrong type of snow, the latest excuse for train delays is a simple sausage roll.

    A train driver clocked off early for the day blaming his hot lunch for temporarily blinding him.

    Other excuses uncovered by investigators include a stray eyelash and a driver somehow punching himself in the nose while closing a window.

    At least long-suffering British commuters can take some comfort from the fact these were all used not here, but in Australia.
