    Interesting... the first I have heard of the new 8 coach carriage shed to l be built at Herston Halt.

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    Yes, 2 roads at 4 coach length, to be cut into the embankment at the Swanage end of the current siding (the former loop). Planning permission was obtained last year.

    Will this see the pullmans come south? If i remember rightly there are 3 at Carnforth destined for the Swanage but undercover storage was wanted.
