I did wonder if the rake of carriages sitting in platform 2 was going to be used later...
That, together with the video of her moving, is a sight for sore eyes. Thanks for posting.
And yet those of us connected with the NVR have been warned against mentioning anything on social media about the test runs.
So why have they put it on their FB page?
From the Tornado f/b page, standing at Orton Mere;
My pleasure, Simon.
You tell me.
I have an idea why, but it's a bit "out there"....
The best kind...
HOORAY! She`s back!
This made my day, and outside my window the sun is shining...
I think it's fair game once the A1SLT have published it, but otherwise we're not allowed to mention the war<del><del><del>loco...
New repair update confirming postponement of Ynys Mon and Auld Reekie railtours.
I don't suppose anyone here has the details yet, particularly the revised date for the Holyhead trip on 29th September?
EDIT: Just seen on another thread its 4 May 2019
Fingers crossed it all goes well from here, as well as the cost of repairs that's 6 Months earnings lost.
Still its an Ill wind and Union of South Africa having a great final fling...
Indeed, timing wise things have worked out quite well with 60009 enjoying a swansong of greater proportions than might have been expected. Mr C must be quietly hoping the inspector carries on scrutinizing the A1 a while longer ....
Don't be silly. Mr Cameron is a locomotive owner who will be well able to understand what the A1 people are going through. They don't need people like you making such crass comments.
It's a light hearted quip, in response to the "ill wind" remark. Obviously A1STs loss is Mr Cs gain to some extent but clearly he won't actually be willing them ill as nobody is. Go take out your disappointment on someone else please.
OK Danny, I can live with that.
Calm down Mr V.... mixing the bravery pills and Laphroig makes you a bit scary...
