    Hi,

After just a bit of information with regards to M7 No. 30108. I've often heard this locomotive was nicknamed 'Rosie' but have never found out why the locomotive received this nickname?

I have read in a magazine she had painted roses entwined on the 0's on her cab numbers and in another magazine a shot of her hauling 'The Rambling Rose' in 1963. I've yet to see a shot of her with these painted roses on her cab side so if anyone has any it would be very interesting to see.

Does anyone know where this nickname came from?

    Many thanks,
