Sorry of course it is. A classic case of fingers typing before brain engaging! I really need to check UK steam info a bit more regular. Thanks for the info 6026 King John.

From most of the videos I've seen of 34067 and 70013 today 34067 has been flying and poor 70013 is almost hidden in each one.

Me too - could be the deciding factor in choosing whether to brave the gale and rain on Sapperton with the camcorder - I think a precautionary visit to Glos en route from home is in order !

Was heading to Sapperton and then Maidenhead today but a 160 miles round trip in this weather is not worth it. Will have to make do with a shot of 5043 at Paddington in the dry.

The last time I braved Sapperton in these kind of conditions I ended up with a soaked, written off camera body. I'll willingly gamble if there is the chance of some sun and a stormy sky, but today is a no brainer. The rainfall radar shows the back edge of the storm still almost across the Channel and getting heavier.

I look forward to being proved wrong and seeing all the spectacular Sapperton videos of 5043 slithering up to the tunnel. Good luck

My intention was to do sound but whilst it's fairly easy to protect a mic against wind with a decent wind cage and cover, protecting against driving rain is not so easy.

Was a good 10+ early on the approach to Gloucester, I was still parking up when I heard her go by, so Filton wasn't any problem then!
