A bit late but a video of 46115 climbing to Ais Gill on last week's Dalesman is now online:
Great panning, shows also a distinct reduction of lineside viewers. At one time there would have been a much larger crowd at Ais Gill of all places
Many thanks, much appreciated. Yes it was very quiet, I guess partly due to the number of S&C trains over the summer and with steam from/to Hellifield only, there's perhaps less incentive for the trip out.
Does anybody know whats on tomorrows train?
A Jubilee, but which one??????
Thanks! Just got back in and UKSteam now has 45690 down for both Dalesman and Fellsman.
45690 is confirmed for Wednesday's Fellsman, but loco for the Dalesman Is uncertain.
Any further news/update please for tomorrows Dalesman.
Well something left Carnforth for Hellifield this morning... http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U54270/2015/06/16/advanced

A couple of whistles heralded Leander's approach to Horton in Ribblesdale station, 19E. She swept through with seeming effortless ease, looking well in the uncharacteristic summer sunshine. The recognisable sound of the Jubilee's exhaust could be heard for some time as she hurried along the straight towards Selside.
