    Here are two albums taken during a recent Railway Touring Co trip to Italy and Switzerland.

    The first comprises 61 photos of a trip behind double-headed 2-8-0s on the metre gauge Rhaetian Railway's spectacular Albula line from Samedan to Chur. They had worked to Samedan the previous day; these were the only two days in 2015 when the locos were due to work in tandem:

    The second album records a steam charter up the Rigi rack railwy from Vitznau, the second oldest rack railway in the world and the oldest in Switzerland. Vitznau is reached by ferry from Lucerne, and I have included photos of the five paddle boats which ply Lake Lucerne:
