    Some photos of the Snowdonia Statesman yesterday which i was on from Huddersfield to Blaenau Ffestiniog (photos of the FR later)
    Motive power was D1924 Crewe Diesel Depot & 47712 Lady Diana Spencer

    Not railway relevant but
    on the way out i noticed 2 former USSR Fighter Jets at Hawarden airport, and managed to get this photo on the return journey

    If you search online for "Soviet aircraft at Hawarden Airport" you'll find plenty of info. A batch of them (including helicopters) arrived c30 years ago. Some have gone and others have been moved around over the years so I've no idea which ones are in the photo.

    Sukhoi SU-17M on the left, Sukhoi SU-17B on the right. There's a MiG-27K there as well.
