The Severn Valley Railway is proud to welcome the Olympic Torch to the line on Thursday 24th May. The torch will be carried on the footplate of one of our locomotives between Bewdley and Kidderminster. This special train called 'The Worcestershire Express' will depart Bewdley station at 4.05pm and arrive at Kidderminster at 4.25pm.A regular service of trains will operate throughout the day. Visitors are welcome to join us on this very special day. Timetable 'B' will operate instead of the previously advertised timetable 'A'.All of our stations will be open as usual but we regret that it will NOT be possible to travel on the 'Worcestershire Express' with the Olympic torch.
