    We spent the run up to New Year in the Black Forest Germany riding the main line steam trips with a Railtrail party. First day was with the Zollernbahn class 052, Rotteil to Triberg, second day Triberg to St Georgen and onto to Hausach. Day three was the three lakes run from Titisee to Seebrugg and return with the class 058. Excellent weather, but whilst photo opportunities are a bit restricted whilst travelling head hanging from windows and balconies is positively encouraged! Very friendly bunch , full buffet service days 1+2.
