Just seen a video on Faceache of 4498 at York with the Saphos blood and custard stock, Dated as being taken today, 17th December.
Yet the Saphos 'Christmas White Rose' from Wolverhampton to York is listed as cancelled and nothing on RTT.

A bit of leftover trivia from last year. On Wednesday 11 May one of the LSL drivers was at the regulator of Royal Scot at the head of the returning Yorkshire Coast Express. On Wednesday 18 May he was on Fellsman duties driving Braunton and on Saturday 21 May he drove Sir Nigel Gresley on the northbound leg of the A4 society members special. Three express locomotives from three of the "Big Four" railway companies in 10 days. There can't be many (any?) drivers who, in recent mainline steam operations, have equalled (or surpassed) such a variety in so short a time.
