Hi, first time on here for me. 8-[
The Plym Valley Railway took delivery of BR Mk 2 BFK 17092 from the Bodmin & Wenford Railway on Wednesday 28th Jan. Currently in BR maroon and slightly tired, it will be spruced up to be back in service mid summer along with a BR Mk 2 TSO 5141 ex mid Hants currently undergoing overhaul. These two will then replace our class 117 DMU which will be stopped for a much needed rebuild. Also on the PVR we have another Mk 2 TSO 5199 (ex mid hants) due back in service 2010/2011 currently still in Network South East livery! along with BR Mk 2 BFK 17089 (ex mid hants) which is still in its Kent & East Sussex livery! Due into shops during the summer, and for completion in 2010. Finally we still have our BR Mk 1 BSK 34945 which is complete internally and currently in a sort of maroon primer. She will get done after the Mk 2's. Hope this helps?

The North Norfolk Railway have recently taken delivery of overhauled Mk1 TSO 4958 from WCRC at Carnforth and dispatched very tired Mk1 FO 3106 in opposite direction.

Close.... It was actually at the East Kent Railway, not the KESR. To the best of my knowledge, there has never been a mk2 on the KESR. That confused the life out of me when I read it!

Yup, my mistake, sorry about that. Took the info off the carriage information website, and details got a little foggy during typing up entry! #-o

The WSR is about to take delivery of BR Mk1 TSO no 4956 purchased from Riviera Trains at Old Oak Common. This coach is in Blue and Grey livery and was formerly part of EWS Railtour Set OC94. It is currently electrically heated and air braked only, but will be converted to dual heat/dual brake at the WSR.

Spotted heading east on the A30 approaching Exeter late this morning was a BR Mk 1 BSK ? in plain dark blue livery. Didnt see any number on it, presume it had come from Meldon and was off to a new home.
Anyone got anymore info on who, what, where & when etc? [-o< Coach appeared to be in good condition and complete

The blue mark one spotted in Devon is probably the kitchen car which has just appeared in our carriage works sidings. It is air braked only & apparently has the wrong bogies under it.

Also a picture of the queen Mary from the Swanage railway that will now be restored to all it's glory on the Llangollen Railway.

    Wrong Bogies? :-k

GCR(N) have had a lot of coach movements int he last few weeks.

Former GatEx Mk.1 GLV 9108 has left the site for Simm's Scrapyard, Nottingham.
Mk.1 RMB 1811 in Chocolate & Cream livery has arrived from G&WR. The Buffet is Gas Powered, Steam Heated & Vac Braked
Ex.GNER Charter Mk.1 BFK in BR SR green has arrived from the same sight. The Coach is Air Braked and Electronically Heated.
We also have another coach arriving from GWR, but I can't tell you anymore than that, as I don't know! (Someone at GWR might though)

    Regards,
    Brandon
