I've heard that visiting 'Mogul' No. 5322 from Didcot is due to be operating 'cream tea special' passenger services over the full length of the Swindon & Cricklade tomorrow. For those that missed the recent gala in June, this is a bonus opportunity to experience this loco working services a stone's throw from its Swindon birthplace.

During the gala the Mogul only operated passenger services on the Blunsdon - Hayes Knoll section, and only ventured onto the railway's new southern extension (Blunsdon - Mouldon Hill) as part of the 6-engine cavalcade on Saturday 12th. Tomorrow however I am told the loco will be operating services over the full length of the line, including the new southern extension.

And from personal experience at the recent gala, the 53 really does 'talk' so worth a visit I'd say!
