Bedfordshire on Sunday in general and its editor, STEVE LOWE, in particular, keeps attracting criticism from the rail lobby. By supporting the Willington Rowing Lake proposal, it is assumed this newspaper is against the East-West rail link. This is not so but Lowe has decided to get to the bottom of the matter to see whether plans to rebuild an old rail line are going anywhere.

It will come as no surprise to many that the area between Sandy and Bedford has officially been named ‘The Missing Link’.
