    Previously mentioned here but no harm in flagging it up in its' own thread!

    Just a pity it's a closed group - it really should be open to gain maximum interest, and also they should perhaps consider creating a conventional website for those who do not use Facebook at all.

    The very best of luck to them for this most worthwhile project. The 22s were the most numerous diesel class not to make it into preservation and it would be fantastic to see a new-build running on preserved Westcountry branchlines.

    No doubt it will become considerably more "open" when the costs become more clear! I'd certainly chip in for a 22 :)
