Work is continuing on our second Grampus 991840
This has been gritblasted, painted and had a steel floor installed instead of re timbering.
Currently repair work to the doors is ongoing due to the extreme battering it suffered when in BR service.
On completion this will join Grampus 988288 and Rudd 990109 on the Newbridge Ash disposal duty.

LNER Brake van 246710 has also received attention to timbering and paintwork and should reappear in departmental service soon.
Current work this week should involve machining and fitting of new footboards.
