    Bridgnorth last weekend? Granted the Southern livery was a little controversial & 2968 wasn't technically on display! Even Mayflower was stretching the LNER a bit! I'm pretty sure the SVR has had a big 4 gala a few times before though.

    2013 at the gwsr saw the big four represented in original liveries b12 8572, 8f 8274, gwr 2807 and sr schools 925 for the 90th big four event.

    Not on the timetable, but Lucie has just gone light engine from Grosmont to Goathland, so is out and about greeting her fans today!

    I went up to the NYMR today Thursday 21st September for the first day of there 50th Anniversary Autumn Steam Gala
    In steam were 3 of the 4 visiting locos (60007 SNG did not arrive until after i had left) 55189, 75069 & 92214, with home fleet locos 5428 Eric Treacy & 80136 double heading with the ‘Caley Tank’

    with exception of Lucie (and Sir Nigel who didn't arrive til many had left on Thursday) - who says you can't paint all your engines Black for a great gala? :)

    80136 has failed in section near Moorgates with the 14.58 from Grosmont. Fire thrown out by the looks of it and now awaiting rescue.

    Wouldn't be a Moors gala without at least one engine giving up the ghost. Usually a visiting engine...... The Moors has that happy ability to sort the wheat from the scrap, oops chaff, when it comes to any minor or otherwise issues with visiting engine.
