Who in their right mind would want to start a new scheme on the doorstep of an existing large heritage railway (East Lancs.) ?

Messages regarding the sale of the loco and scrapping of the sleeper have been removed from the Facebook page.

    Who knows what this means!

Probably that next week there will be a new page appearing, asking for donations towards the restoration of said wrecks.

The sleeper was supposedly sold for scrap and unfortunately the loco has probably gone the same way. The Facebook page was removed some time ago.
    Only@stuartreeder can say for certain...

I have to say, speculating on someone's personal finances, whatever their reputation, is not exactly a good look

The soap opera continues along with Stuart’s ability to shoot himself on the foot . One suspect the debt still increases and the suggestion above is closer than you may think

The sleeper definitely went for scrap, although I believe a number of useful bits were removed by a couple of preservation groups before it actually went for scrap.

No idea on the loco or his financial position.

Stuart confirms scrapping of the engine although has later deleted when the person who actually had agreed to buy it before Stuart being Stuart decided to screw it all up again and buyer withdrew pointed that out

If Stuart thinks Marrows have already scrapped it, then why is he inviting Andy to make an offer for it?

Also, if it still survives and let's say that Andy places a bid for it and Stuart accepts, does Stuart really think that Marrows will just release the loco despite them storing it for the last 6?/12? months? I seem to recall there was also some dispute over money owed for work on axleboxes or cylinder bores which was why Stuart put it up for sale in the first place?

    Fantasyland!

Stuart couldn't pay for work done , nor could he pay the mounting storage costs which I suspect scrap value would not cover . He had a buyer who in their words he royally screwed over and sadly the rest as they say is now history . @ghost he was selling a whistle to which that comment relates
