    I have started adding a lot of new photos featuring Pre 1968 Steam Locomotives of the LMS & B.R. London Midland Region.
    A lot will need help in identifying locations ifg anyone can help please
    This collection features the Stanier Princess Royal Class in the B.R. era

    45155 at Stranraer (which carried the name The Queen's Edinburgh from 1942-1944), though as during wartime no photos exist of it with the nameplate

    The Rebuilt Royal Scot class (The new 'Rebuilt Scot' design was carried out under the auspices of William Stanier, who was then engaged on war work, so was actually undertaken by George Ivatt and E.S. Cox.)

    Originally ordered by the War Department as WD300–WD337 delivered as LMS 8226–8263, on loan from WD
