    I always think photos from before the end of steam in '68 have that little bit more interest than those taken in more recent years.

    Thanks for your comments. I have only recently got round to scanning some of my old black and white pictures which are now showing signs of age. They come up surprisingly well. I have quite a few photographs of special trips etc which I went on when I was young and single. Incidentally I have found the following website very useful in verifying and tracking down trips from yesteryear and I would recommend it to anyone.

    Yeah, i tried scanning photos in and it does work quite well doesn't it! I scan off the negatives which probably helps.
