On a visit to Didcot I read that 6998 Burton Agnes Hall was one of the last four Halls to be withdrawn.

I did some checking, but the sites I found just had the withdrawal month (rather than date) and a fair few made it to December 1965 (including 4920 Dumbleton Hall, a fine effort for such an early class member).

So can anyone enlighten me as to the other three members of the final four?

Minor correction to your dates - these are 4-weekly periods especially used by the Midland Region (the last operator of the Halls IIRC) so need to be careful when researching dates. In MR case there would be 13 4-weekly periods in a year.

The last Halls were withdrawn from Oxford, which was still WR territory. 6998 actually worked her last train in January '66, after the official end of WR Steam which was the end of December 1965 (with the exception of Bath shed (ex LMR) which carried on until March 1966).
