    Sunday was the first day in normal service for the coal tank, excluding recent gala duty, so dropped by extra early to catch all the action, turned out to be an eventfull day in more ways than one, with the raods gridlocked in teh area due to anothe gas explosion in the area just after 10am and later on the coal tank had to drop out after lighting up the line side. Despite this we manaed to catch to light engine and two service trains with the coal tank, along with 80002 during the day.

    We are of to north wales for a week on saturday, so I have posted the final part of North Norfolk Rwailway's steam gala on a delayed release for bank holiday monday around 5pm.

    That would be why there were so many black burnt patches when I visited on Tuesday...
