Interesting pictures although those of W8 are of the real 'Freshwater' (ex LBSCR 46 'Newington'). The IWSR has never turned out 32640 (ex LBSCR 40 'Brighton') as W8, only in variations of it's real identity as IWCR 11, SR W11 and, for a short time in the 90s, as BR 32640.

W8 is fit for traffic this year. W11 is awaiting arrival of a new boiler which is being constructed at Israel Newton's, who built W8's new boiler ten years or so ago. W24 'Calbourne' is hoped to be in traffic at some stage this year - no date for her return has been proposed as yet. Latest information is on the IWSR web site Loco News http://www.iwsteamrailway.co.uk/news/locomotive-news.html
