    I'm fairly sure it's been moved recently to a private site (I think not rail connected) and is being actively worked on.

    It took me a minute. Roughly translated as "Here's the map, and there's a picture for sale on ebay at the minute"....

    The locomotive is settling down to regular service after a few teething problems. The RH glut block bolt has not given further trouble; the loco ate about half a set of cast iron firebars when fed some dirty coal, it now has a full set of chrome steel bars which are lasting much better. The regular loading is up to five and sometimes six Mk1 coaches, with which it plods uphill quite happily, the gradient is constantly uphill for 8 1/2 miles at around 1 in 100.

    The penberth ejector is satisfactory, even with six coaches but take time to create a full vacuum if a full application is made going downhill, the crews have learned to work around that. We did also obtain a Hugh Philips type ejector, so as that is in stock it might as well be fitted when time permits.

    The identical brand new spare penberthy ejector which we got at the same time as the one fitted is now for sale, available for immediate delivery, and would be suitable for use on industrial locomotives. If anyone is interested, please contact me.

    Kind regards

    Tim

    Not my image, but I think;

    Loco is Barclay 1969 ‘JN Derbyshire’, top and tail with FR no.20, looks like Bury Bolton Street station.

    Yes I did notice it when looking at one of the Bury Bolton Street webcams the other day.

    Still plodding away quite happily. It recently required a new centre grate support as the existing one had overheated and bent into a pronounced curve over a period of time. Dirty coal again, causing a localised fierce blast. The crews are cleaning the fire twice per day.

    Meanwhile, we still have the penberth ejector for sale and also the SJ ejector previously fitted when it worked at Peak Rail. The SJ has been overhauled, but not tested and is minus the vacuum release valve which is in use on the locomotive. If anyone is interested please contact me.
