Hi Viz waterproofs - taped seams getting damaged in the wash

    Has anyone else had problems with the tape on the inside of the seams on Hi-Viz coats and leggings shrivelling up in the wash?

    Despite washing at the recommended 40C the tape completely de-natures and coms adrift. First noticed when I couldn’t get my foot down the leggings. Turned them inside out and found the problem. Had to rip it all away, I’m sure that’s not great for the strength or waterproof?
