    3087 has returned to the NYMR from Rampart Engineering at Barrow Hill, where it has been undergoing body frame repairs. Now owned by the LNER Coach Association, it is undergoing sympathetic modifications to increase its seating capacity and better suit it to use as an observation saloon, attached to the LNERCA's teak train.
