    Just in case you needed reminding, the January 2009-dated issue of The Railway Magazine will include a free calendar, and far better value than the railway calendars I have seen on display in my local Borders. The magazine and calendar will be bagged, but it's a good 'un.

    But then I would say that, wouldn't I?

    They are both stunning images. Thanks for the free calendar with the mag. The other titles (apart from Steam World) have separate calendars that you have to buy. Keep up the great work at the RM.

    Got mine yesterday. The calendar is excellent and so is the New issue. Good article on A4 performance on the ECML with 60007 and 60019.

    Nothing to do with RM but I went into a break charity shop where I live, on the counter was a new 2009 steam railways of Britain calender (4141 on the front). How much I asked, the lady replied it was free!

    I did however put 50p in the collection box.
