    The flood-damaged Severn Valley Railway is hoping to have most of the line open again early next year.

    Three quarters of the 16-mile (26km) line between Bridgnorth, Shropshire, and Kidderminster remains closed after the summer floods. Owners said many smaller jobs had been completed and it was aiming to have the whole line open by about March.
