Further to the SVR information posted above, details are now on the website:

    https://svr.co.uk/event/february-half-term-2024/

Highley explictly being mentioned as the mid-point of the journey, so definitely full-line running. Also, an as yet unspecified "very special visitor" at the Engine House in midweek (13-15 Feb).

We are planning on running a 3 train service. With no access to the MPD. The service train off Bridgnorth will be a 3 car DMU.

I was told last week that the EVR is operating at February half term with the newly overhauled Austerity WB2746.

I had noticed those dates on the website. Is there a likely candidate to be the loco in service?, not sure what is present there these days.

What do the circles and various colours mean? They do not seem to the to running days eg. Feb 10th is,coloured, but half term running is indicated as starting on 11th.

The coloured '11' is an example. Either that, or the left hand needs to be introduced to the right hand at the SDR.

The North Norfolk Railway website currently lists GWR 42xx 4277 courtesy of Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway as running steam services between the 17th and 25th of February.

An excellent choice of visiting loco and being on leave from work I've booked accommodation in Sheringham for the week and look forward to enjoying a few trips behind it along with a few runs with the 101/104 DMU too.
