EVR to launch Henry Ellison into service in May

    The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway is to launch Henry Ellison, its second resident steam locomotive, into service on 4th May. The day will also see visiting Great Western Railway 5643 in service along this delightful line.


    On the diesel front , the 2nd March should see the last appearance of 31414 in its rather tired looking InterCity livery. It is planned to repaint the locomotive into BR green.
