    Rail passengers travelling between Bristol and London are facing severe delays on Monday after a train derailment in Wiltshire. A spokeswoman for First Great Western said that the engineering freight train came off the track at Wootton Bassett in the early hours.

    "There will be severe disruption, cancellations, diversions, delays up to 30 minutes," she said.

    "It will impact on services for most of the day."
