The quotes have come from Washford Heath, regarding clearance of the site, prior to HS2.

Of course there will. I, after a particularly cr*p few days culminating in the death of a close friend, find this news very comforting.

D'you think that'd shut up those who complain about a "box on the back"??!! ;)

My first ever tour was Alycidon north and Tornado south. Fantastic.

Either one of 'em out of KX to York, return leg with the other one. The organisers would have a 'Fully Booked' job on their hands. And I'd be at the front of the queue for a ticket

That's what I did in the tour I mentioned, @Victor - and it was a sellout, even Premier Dining was full!

ETA: sorry, you're referring to the two Deltics, aren't you!

I notice that Locomotive Diesels Ltd. was previously Locomotive 47501 Ltd., the name change being made last December - what's the history?

I'll take a Deltic either way, but Tornado/Blue Peter one way and a Deltic the other would, IMO, be a dream tour.
Book me and my staff in premier dining.

The Christmas dinner I had on the tour with 46100 last week was superb :Hungry:

Isn't it fairly common knowledge that Premier Dining seems to be where most of the demand is these days anyway.

From recollection all LSL loco's seem to have their own Ltd company, I assume there is some legal or 'Trust' reason behind this?

The tour last week had a good few empty seats in my carriage.

Could that not be put down to the fact that your tour was on a Thursday, departed Ealing Broadway at Stupid O'Clock and had a box back though?
