D7629 arrives at Wirksworth

    D7629 arrived at the Eccelsbourne Valley Railway's Wirksworth station this afternoon from the GCR(N), the locomotive has been welcomed by many at the railway and special thanks should be given to its owner Mark Fowler; :) . The Rat will be operating passenger services during the 2016 season!

    These Rats are appropriate anywhere. They fit in well with branch lines; I'd just love to see one based at Bodmin coupled to some china clay trucks, just like in the 70s.
