    I fear my memory is failing me - on the day of the Western Tribute, 26th February 1977, I was sat on Denchworth bridge to bid a fond farewell to the Westerns - I have read on at least one website and in Adrian Curtis's 'Cast of Thousands' that D1010 and D1048 followed D1013 and D1023 but my recollection, between Didcot and Swindon at least, is that it was the other way round and that Campaigner and Lady preceded the special. Does anyone have anything to confirm or otherwise - maybe I need to take more Omega 3 tablets.
