Oh dear, a quick glance at RTT would indicate "Full beans" from the rear ! I wonder what the plan is for the return.
Anybody remember any other steam tours with a powered electric on the back?
Would that make it an electric box?
@neildimmer - is there any indication which route back you’re taking? S&C as planned or via Shap?
73107 went out on the back of a few Steam Dreams trips in 2006, slightly different from an 86 admittedly.
Electric has gone LE to Preston. I can't see any other LE paths for a diesel from Carnforth.
Very common in Europe. I've done steam tours with an electric loco on the back in Italy and Switzerland, and I've seen photos of German tours too.
Just changed to train cancelled by operator on RTT
1N87 cancelled. Replaced by 1A89. Shown as at platform 3 but with the same departure time ( now long gone ) of 14.22.
But there is a 1A89 also shown leaving at the same time and currently 'at platform'?
