Yes, I got the same sequence of e-mails (although my spam filter had intercepted them all).
Any reports on the move to London? Thanks in advance.
Left Banbury 1 min early
Through Beaconsfield (against the sun) on time
Nice to see the diesel inside 5043. By the way its not the usual Tyseley '47 (47773) as it is a large logo one.
47 580 COUNTY OF ESSEX! Few pics at Hatton bank!
leaving green ford loop 7.45
My previous post might of given the wrong impression about me questioning the diesel No. I was only enquiring which one it was.
Thanks for the info Rick E.
Just had a call from one of the crew and they are now at Marylebone for the night, so if you're in the area nip down and say hello and give them a hand with watering the engine.
Here is my Vid of 5043 on its way to London.
Anyone seen this today?
sadly not, Prior commitments prevented me taking this train today, however I will be making my way to Marylebone later this evening when it comes back.
It's a grey wet day here in London.
Just got back from filming, start work on editing soon!
I'd like to thank the driver for not shutting off through Wilmcote, there was hesitation but made a glorious sight. Seemed to run on time all day from what I saw.
Got some shots on its way up at Harbury cutting and on the way back at Bishops Itchington! Pritty grim weather though but thankfully did mange to get it in between downpours!!

Glad you got out to see it guys. I managed to get to Saunderton for a sound recording on the return, will post if anything decent. Going well up there anyway.
Just got back - excellent day out with a fine engine and great food. =D> =D>
Nice pictures Rick, especially considering the weather and the last shot is super.I am afraid to say I hardly ventured beyond the back door today the weather was so awful.Well done!
Sound from Saunderton. There is someone nearby and an airliner overhead at the end but try and listen with headphones, you'll get the idea. A good climb in damp conditions.
Nice pics Rick, glad someone was out today, i had to attend a birthday party last night and wasn't really in a fit state to pay homage to Swindon's finest ](*,)
Out of curiousity, where do loco's working into Marylebone go to service and turn and via what route ?.
Looking at UK Steam 5043 was taken off at West Ruislip and the 47 took over, but not sure where E o M E was turned and serviced.
