RAILWAY stations should be opened at Soham and Fulbourn, and Cambridge linked to Huntingdon, a rail campaigner claims.

Coun Geoffrey Heathcock, a supporter of Transport 2000's Growing the Railways manifesto, is calling for rail to be considered as the key to helping Cambridgeshire's creaking transport infrastructure. He would like to see better links between Cambridge and Bedford as well as local routes.
