Looking at 92207 you could almost just light a fire & fill the boiler & steam it!
92061/66 didn't actually have air brakes, the air pumps were for operating the hopper doors on the wagons, Tyne/Consett?

Yep, gradients and train weights on the Consett Ore usually meant one 9F as train engine and a second as banker, must have been an awesome sight and sound.

Have a DVD somewhere of a 9F opening the hopper doors at Consett via the air system.

Neil... Standard post again... Couldn't this go in the photography section and do we have to have a new thread every time? Fairly sure I'm just flogging a dead horse by asking now...

It's sadly now the reason he has become the only user on here that I have 'ignored'. It means I no longer see what he posts, he has been asked so many times over the past couple of years and for whatever reason doesn't seem to grasp the fact that several members on here don't want to see streams of photography threads in the steam section.

As a side note I have noticed that several of the photos have other peoples copyright on them.... given the huge amount of photos that are continually uploaded have the various owners of these images sent them to him? For example 'http://www.throughtheireyes2.co.uk/' who sell their images via CD... seems a bit odd they would allow someone else to upload all their images onto a free to access website that they charge for?
