BR Brake Van vac cylinder

    Afternoon all


    Does anyone know which size vacuum cylinder goes under a BR brake van i.e. an 18” or 21”, we are going to at some point re instate the vacuum equipment but when trial fitting an 18” cylinder today the distance between the 2 brackets on the van was 4 inches wider than the cylinder. We were thinking there could be a spacer between the sole bar and the cylinder bracket.


    Any ideas?
