    Any idea when the convoy got away from Alton? The diesel had failed and the replacement (+ 3 coaches) was through Bentley at just after 2pm and wasn't expected back with the convoy for at least an hour.

    Yep, the convoy was an hour late. We were at Bentley and couldn't believe it when the 37 came along at around 2pm going towards Alton. Here is the convoy on the return run:
