Like this: Giants Refreshed, but at Crewe instead of Doncaster? Another "who'd have thought it?"

Funnily enough I thought the same thing when I read 26D's post. Who's for a game of spot the mouse?!

Blue Peter moved today from Barrow Hill to Crewe (former Diesel Depot) where it is at this moment being unloaded.

Give it a year or so and it could be done albeit sadly without Terence Cuneo.

Good to hear 60532 has arrived at Crewe.

Seen from a passing train today appeared to be a blue LNER 8 wheel type tender with early BR emblem outside the north end of the new RS&G depot. Any thoughts?

60007 is the only one I can think of as 4464 is at Ropley.

Already contemplating the prospect of an A1 / A2 double header over Shap and the S&C. No diesel in sight or sound naturally, : )

As far as I know LNWR heritage is still trading from the site next to CHC. Apologies for causing any confusion.

Bitterns water carrier arrived at Crewe today according to a post on Facebook, still carrying LNER Garter Blue

Forgive me, but I am slightly confused, has 60532 arrived CHC or the former diesel depot now owned or leased by RS&G ?

I am generally getting confused regarding what is what with the various depots around Crewe - is it possible someone has a plan which shows what is what - I always take a look out when passing through Crewe so would be interested to know where I may see steam apart from the HC.

The latter is what i understood from the earlier post. Now joined by the water carrier as well.
I presume 5029 and 34046 are at the old LNWR works where 60009 is currently outside in a partially dismantled state.

A waste of two good locos. They'd be barely on half regulator. One train apiece would be better IMO

Actually it's not at the LNWRH works at the Heritage Centre.
34046 was moved on Thursday to the diesel depot, where it joins 5029 and 60532.
