71000 working midweek on the ELR

The East Lancs are a little bit short of small steam engines this week. A temporary problem, I might add. So, the guys there, not wishing to disappoint the customers, arranged with the 71000 boys to put the Duke out midweek. Not very economical maybe, but it just shows the commitment of the railway to serve the punters. Well done, I say.
I got out and took a few snaps of the magnificent machine on the 10:00 am from Bury yesterday (Thursday).
