46229 Duchess of Hamilton (help needed with a tour date)

    Evening all

    I have added 2 collections featuring 46229 Duchess of Hamilton hauling 2 railtours in the 1980’s.
    The first collection i just found recently so have not been seen before on my website

    The second collection i need some help with the date as i am not sure the one i have is correct

    Neil, I cannot confirm your pictures were taken on that date but 46229 did work a Leeds to Appleby CME on 11 August 1990 as I travelled on it. It was due to depart Leeds at 1120.
    The return from Appleby to Leeds was worked by 60009.
    My notes say that 46229 replaced the booked loco 45596 because of concerns about fire risk.
