    I travelled to Doncaster originally to see 44871 and ' for some reason my camera decided to not work at Doncaster
    just as 44871 was approaching the station (later found i had accidentally set it to video mode), so as there was a Azuma to York following i hoped on this and was able
    to see the steam charter on Platform 5 at York

    44871 has certainly done some work this year...next year it will be 80years old.... a tribute to it's designer, Sir William Stanier....

    The Norwich to York RTC charter filmed near the top of Stoke Bank (Swayfield) and leaving the pathing stop at Claypole Loop, between Grantham and Newark.
