    Coming up the annual Diesel Gala over the main 18 miles with additional trips on Eskimo Valley Line.
    12th - 14th September 2014

    Visiting Diesel engines confirmed for this years Gala are:

    55002 Class 55 ‘Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry’
    50015 Class 50 ‘Valiant’
    31466 Class 31
    D1502 Class 47
    D6700 Class 37

    and Resident Diesel loco fleet available on day, to include Class 25 and Class 37.

    For those still wanting/waiting to know when/if trains are running to Battersby on this Diesel Gala,
    as will be seen from the now published FREE timetables there are trains running to Battersby on Friday and Saturday but not on Sunday. Times are shown in T/T but there is two opportunities each day running.
