Water stop at Langwathby? RTT error there maybe?

Maybe something to do with Appleby Fair - usual watering arrangements not available?

 

Steam dreams site now says that the 8f is in charge.

 

That was the info I had also received Mike .

 

Odd that neither of the originally advertised locos are available at the last minute forcing the change.

 

Maybe it is a good thing because the 8f hasn't had a solo spin so to speak with a train since last year and her performance this past weekend was fantastic.

 

Good that steam is still in charge. Hopefully not too many that had booked particularly for a ride behind the Scot or Jubilee as promoted.

Strange how we were used to seeing these fine engines handling freight, day in and day out in the 50s/ 60's, yet she seems quite at home with eleven coaches behind. Excellent video Stephen, thanks. Pete
