    Hi Kieran,
Me and two friends are coming to the gala hopefully and we were wondering when the final line up for the gala would be announced and are there any clues to what the fourth visiting engine is and are there any ideas to what the fifth if possible visiting engine would be i'm guessing something eastern to fit with the theme of the gala.

my dream line up would be 1744, 61994, 60009, 61306 or 62005 or 61264, 8572 the b12 and completing the line up for me would be 69621.

Many Thanks If You Can Help And Shed Some Information.

    Yrm.,

The MNR is still in negotiation with the owner of a 4th Eastern loco. The railway is due to come back soon with an answer but for those interested in the wider steam world.....

We can announce a fifth visitor, making its first ever steaming in the UK. A Belgian Cockerill steam tram will be making it first appearance in steam over the weekend. Cockerill 0-4-0WT vertical boilered Tram Engine number 2525, built in 1907, has been restored at Yaxham and will operate around Dereham station over the weekend.

That is a mighty fine line up, but the 30k in movement fee's required might be a stretch outside our budget methinks....

As per Yvonne? If so, deceptively impressive machine with a good bark to boot!

The MNR is delighted to announce that it has a limited number of places available for footplate experiences with K4 61994 on Mon 30th June and Tuesday 1st July. Please contact Dereham station for details.

The deal for the 4th loco was finalised this morning, so once I have signed a deal with the haulier, we will announce it. Should be one or two days.

Representing the other end of the scale to the A4, our fourth Eastern visitor is small, green, an 0-4-0 and lives in Yorkshire.

Brilliant, I assume that will be within Dereham Station Limits? Does it need to be pre-booked?

Yes, in station limits (south of the level crossing to save additional closures to road traffic). No pre-booking, it will be first-come, first served as the opportunities arise in the timetable - yet to be finalised.
